The End.
It’s been a heck of a ride.
Since we launched Dirtyword, our mission has been simple: cut through the corporate fluff, ignore the jargon, and look at eLearning from the trenches, rather than the C-suite. We’ve grown to a community of thousands of readers across more than 30 countries, and for that, we can’t thank you enough.
However, all good stories have a final chapter. Dirtyword was always a passion project, created in the lulls between actual paying learning projects. But things change, and due to shifting operational priorities and the need to focus resources on new ventures, we’ve decided to retire Dirtyword - The E-Learning Magazine. There will be no further issues or print runs.
We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done over the last 2 years, and immensely grateful to our guest contributors. We’ll miss the arguments started, and the status quo of the eLearning industry that we challenged together. Thank you for being part of the journey.
The Dirtyword website, the blogs over at Issuu and our email address will be disappearing over the next few weeks, so if you have a burning need to download any copies of the magazine in PDF format, grab them here while you can.
On a personal level, I want to thank everyone who reached out, contributed, or even just disagreed with me over the last few years. It’s been a blast.
If you’d like to keep in touch or see what I’m working on next, check out hellandd.com for a different spin on the frustrations of L&D. And you can always keep up with both Lewis and me on LinkedIn.
Cheers!
Mark and the Dirtyword team.
